The purpose of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act
is to provide Canadians with a right to privacy with respect to their personal information
that is collected, used or disclosed by a commercial organization in the era in which
technology – such as the Internet – increasingly makes the collection and sharing

What information do you collect?
We collect your name, postal address, phone number and email address. We securely store credit
card information for those who wish to purchase a monthly kit subscription.
Why do you collect my information?
There are several reasons. First, we ask that all users of Scraptivity™ register so we know who
is participating in our online community. We believe that this helps to ensure a safe and friendly
online environment. Second, your email address provides us with an opportunity to notify you about
any orders plus, it gives you an option to subscribe to our monthly newsletter to
learn about new
products and promotions. Lastly, we collect billing information for monthly kit subscriptions to
reduce paperwork and ensure the timely release of the kits. You don’t have to store your
credit card on our site for one-time only purchases.
What if I don’t want to store my credit card on your site?
Should you wish to subscribe to a monthly kit and not store your credit card on our site, your
billing structure will be based on the one-time kit fee and you will not be eligible for a reduced,
membership price. We give kit discounts to those who register their billing information for this
ensures seamless purchases. However, like anyone else, we too at Scraptivity™ like a good deal.
You can pay for a kit package option all at once upfront to ensure you receive the discounted rate.
How does Scraptivity™ use my information?
When shopping online, your personal information (name, address, telephone number, email address
and credit card information) is used to process your orders. We maintain a record of your
purchases in our database to track your purchases for our
Reward Dollars program. We keep this
information secure and we do not share it with any third parties.
How does Scraptivity™ ensure my online information is secure?
It is our highest priority to provide a safe and secure community and shopping experience for
everyone. Scraptivity™ will only accept online orders from Web browsers that permit communications
through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is the approved industry standard.
Can I confirm that I have entered a secure site?
Yes. To check the security of your connection take a look at the lower right-hand corner of your
screen. If you see a closed lock or unbroken key, then SSL is active and your transaction is secure. Also, when entering a secure server, the first few characters of a website address will change to “https” from “http”.
Can I remove or update my personal information?
Yes. Your personal information is for you to edit and/or remove at anytime. Log on to www.scraptivity.com and click on “my account”. Here you can sign on to your account and
edit your profile. Ensure you click “save” once you have finished your changes.
