| Make your own Artist Trading Cards with Carrying Case

Artist Trading Cards (ATC) are a wonderful way to share
memories and express your creativity. Scraptivity™ Creative Director, Vicki
Boutin, shares how to make ATCs plus a fun and funky carrying case made out of
tin box.
Create Your Carrying Case
Select a
metal tin to alter, such as a 3.75” x 2“ x .9” tin available
in the Scraptivity™ store.
Add a Dymo
Label to bottom portion of tin
(see Fig. A) and then add ¼”
ribbon around the side edge of
the lid.
Trim dark
burgundy or brown cardstock to
fit on top of the tin’s cover.
Color edges with black ink. Add
a strip of Millionaires Row
edged in black ink to the cover.
Stamp Time and Fun in black,
staple ribbon and glue on
accents. Use a black market to
add a shadow to the “fun” stamp.
Use rub-ons to spell “summer” on
a black domino and attach to
cover. (Note: the “fun” stamp,
domino, paper, ribbon, tin and
clock accent are from the
September 2005 Scraptivity™
kit.
To finish
add a piece of Hat Parade to the
inside lid and decorate with a
black marker.
Make Your
ATC’s
To make an
ATC card, trim to 2.5” x 3.5”
and round corners.
In each of
style, layer paper and stamped
images. Try coloring the edges
of your paper or clipart in dark
brown or black ink.
Each of the
cards uses Scraptivity™ Gel-A-Tins™
stamps. Try using a black marker
to add designs and texture.

Have fun experimenting and
remember to post your ATC's in
the Show or join an ATC swap in
the Tell. |
