Overflow Your Memories in a Mini-Album
Although tiny in size, Vicki Boutin's album overflows with memories. Learn how to
make yours by following the simple steps listed below.
How to make the Album
- Cut two 6" x 4" pieces of cardboard and cover with patterned paper.
- Cut a piece of 12" x 12" cardstock into three 4" x 12" strips.
- Score each piece in the middle and attach three panels (Vicki used 1" x 6" strips of patterned paper).
- Adhere end pieces to covers and attach ribbon/fiber between ends and cover.
How To Decorate The Pages
- Create title by printing it as a mirror image on the shiny side of a transparency sheet and then rub it onto the cover.
- Rub a Versamark ink pad along the edges of the front cover and emboss with black embossing powder.
- Print photos (four 1/2" x 3 1/2" in size) on transparency sheets and
mount on cream cardstock with brads.
- Write song title on card, mat, and stamp with Scraptivity™ music note clear rubber stamps. Ink edges.
- Use a white Galazy marker and black Zig pen for journaling.
Vicki used materials from the Scraptivity™ November
2004 kit to create her album.
