Get Your Questions Answered
Monthly Kit Billing
Do I pay for my monthly subscription all at once?
No, but we can make exceptions. The most popular option is to select a monthly payment option when you join. We will then
charge your credit card or bank account about five business days before your subscribed month.
If you are uncomfortable with storing your account numbers on our secure server, we can arrange for a one-time billing for
your entire subscription period.
When do you bill me?
Your credit card or bank account is
charged when we process your order and produce
your shipping label. This is normally done a
few days before or after the start of the
month. Those who choose PayPal or Interac
(Canadian debit), we email payment requests
just before the start of month.
Can I pay by direct debit from my bank account?
Yes. Canadian banks offer you the ability to email funds through Interact also known as CertaPay. This can be set up for
recurring billing. Contact your bank for more information or visit www.certapay.com. To use this feature on our site, proceed
through checkout and select “phone/fax” as your payment option.
Can I pay by cheque?
We offer both PayPal and Interac as an alternative for credit cards. If these methods do not meet your needs, we will accept a
cheque; however, your kit will not be mailed until the cheque has cleared with our bank. This can cause a delay in delivery of
two or three weeks.

Monthly Kit Facts
Which companies do you represent in your kits?
You will see three types of suppliers in our kits:
- leading scrapbooking manufacturers that you see in magazines or at your local scrapbooking
store
- Scraptivity™ clear rubber stamps and general embellishments that include such items as fiber,
ribbon, tags and buttons
- popular findings from our own brand, Findings & Things™. Here, you will most likely see walnut
ink, metal findings, beads and altered book supplies
What will I find in the monthly kit?
Inside each kit, you will receive:
- a copy of our Notions™ newsletter which contains layout samples, sketches, how-to techniques
plus other items of inspiration to help you scrapbook your memories
- a minimum of 14 papers, which includes patterned paper and, at times, specialty paper from leading scrapbooking manufacturers, along with co-ordinating cardstock from companies such as Prism and Bazzill
- embellishments such as fiber, ribbon, buttons, eyelets, hardware, slide mounts, wire – always
an assortment of items from the traditional to what’s new on the market
- Scraptivity™ clear rubber stamps that cling to an acrylic block. New members receive a
complementary stamp block with their first kit
Why do you promote products each month that are not included in your monthly kit?
No two scrapbooker’s toolkits are the same. Our monthly kits focus on the materials and our
monthly email will let you know what tools and adhesives you will need to complete the techniques.
At times, we will offer some complementary products as well such as rubber stamp ink. Should you
decide to add a monthly add-on feature to your next kit, you will not see an increase in your
shipping charge.
Can I view past kits?
Yes. All past kits are archived under past kits. You’ll see the new monthly kit on our
website the first business day of the month plus a sneak peek as to what’s coming next month.
Can I find out your theme before you ship the kit?
Anticipation can be a great thing! We don’t share the theme until the first of the month when
it’s posted on our web site. We do, however, offer a sneak peek as to what to expect in our monthly email notice, on our Show & Tell discussion board or in see our kits.
What if I don’t like the colour or theme?
One of the best challenges in scrapbooking is using materials you wouldn’t normally purchase so
you don’t get stuck in a design rut. Our kits are a great way to try out new papers, colours and
techniques. You will find that the contents of each kit are very broad to suit a variety of
scrapbooking styles. That said, we’re not satisfied if you’re not. We will gladly return your
unused kit, less shipping charges.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. There are no penalties for canceling your subscription. We ask that if you want to return your unused kit
for a full refund that you do so within 10 business days. Please note that we do not refund shipping charges.
We would also like to know why you are canceling so we can continue to work on improving our products and service.
Can I return a kit if I don’t like it?

days. Contact us first so we can determine if you want a full refund or a credit towards the next month’s kit. Please
note that we do not refund shipping charges.
Do I need to notify you when my
subscription ends to stop billing?
No. At the end of your enrollment period we will ask you if you wish to continue. If we don’t receive a confirmation back
we will cancel your subscription and no further kits will be billed or shipped to you.
I notice that you have varying subscription fees. Is this what the kit costs or is it an additional cost?
Our monthly kits have a retail value that range in value, depending on what’s inside. Your
subscription fee is the actual cost you will pay for a monthly kit. It is not an additional charge. For instance,
a three-month subscription means each kit sent to you will cost $40.99 while a six-month subscription will cost
$38.99 per month and so on. In addition, there is no additional fee for using our site’s features.
I like some of your past kits. Can I include them in my subscription?
People who sign up for a 12-month subscription may purchase past kits at their monthly rate of $36.99.
This is a bonus feature exclusive to this subscription level. The past kits are automatically discounted
in the store at the time of joining. The other way to purchase past kits at a discount is to save and use
your Reward Dollars.
Here is how to add past kits to a subscription:
- On our “Join Page”, select your subscription type and then start month. Add to your shopping cart. Then go back to the
“Join Page”
- Select which past kit or kits you would like to add to your subscription. Add to your shopping cart

Rubber Stamps
Why are your stamps clear?
We’re always looking for what’s new and different, and clear rubber stamps are definitely just
that. They’re becoming increasingly popular with stampers for they are easy to store, make crisp
and clean images and enable exact placement which is great for those of us who are picky,
are shadow
stamping or making collages.
How do I use them?
Your clear stamps effortlessly cling to acrylic blocks or any smooth surface. No special adhesives
are needed. After you’re done stamping clean them and then replace on the laminated stamp sheet
that came with your set.
How do I get an acrylic block?
We provide a complementary 2.5” x 2.5” acrylic block to all new
subscribers. Our store also has a
selection of blocks in different sizes for purchase.
How do I care for the clear stamps?
Clean your clear stamps with stamp cleaners, soap and water, baby wipes or rubbing alcohol. Avoid
solvent and oil-based cleaners such as acetone and bleach.
Are my stamps okay when they stain?
Yes. Clear rubber stamps will stain but this will not affect their performance. A stained stamp can still
be used with a white or light coloured ink without the colours mixing. Just be sure to clean them before you
begin stamping with a lighter shade.
What types of inks can I use?
All ink types are safe to use with your clear stamp. However, solvent inks – like StazOn – should
be immediately cleaned off your stamps once you’re done.
What is your angel policy for Scraptivity™ rubber stamps?
We are happy for you to use Scraptivity™ rubber stamps for work that you make for resale as long
as the image you use does not exceed 100 times. If so, please contact us for commercial licensing
terms.
We ask, when possible, to credit the image back to Scraptivity™. Should your work contain a credit
back to us and be printed in a
commercial scrapbooking or stamping magazine, we will
award you with $50 merchandise
store credit.

Photo Gallery FAQ
How do I upload a photo?
You must be registered and logged on to upload a photo.
Click "upload photo" on the top, right-hand part of the screen. In the upload screen,
select a gallery category for your layout and then click "browse" to find the image
you wish to upload. This will bring you to a second screen.
In the second screen, you can choose up to three categories for your work. Remember, all
uploaded images will be automatically posted to your "personal gallery." In this screen,
you can add a title, description of your work, and key words to help make your image
searchable.
Is there a place for me to store all of my work?
Yes. Scraptivity's Show gallery has a "personal galleries" section. This is really an on-line
library of your work. Every time you upload an image to a category it is automatically stored in
this location.
Is there a size limit for my photo?
The maximum pixel size for your layouts is 500 x 500.
Is there a limit to the number of
layouts I can upload?
We have an
upload etiquette to be fair to all who
are posting their work, please upload
only four layouts at one time, per day.
This allows the layouts posted before
yours to have their time in the front
gallery. We would like everyone to be
able to share their comments and to
support one another. Overloading of the
gallery does not give everyone a sincere
opportunity to comment honestly on your
work. I understand that you may be just
loading your layouts into your gallery,
however being this is a new site, your
work is new to us and we'd like to be
able to appreciate it and all other
layouts posted.
We thank you for your cooperation on
this matter.
